Junior High English/Dyslexia Interventionist

Junior High English/Dyslexia Interventionist to teach and support dyslexia intervention across grades 5-12, with occasional duties in K-4. Responsibilities include completing Level 2 screenings, creating and monitoring individual reading plans, coordinating intervention placement within state timelines, supervising reading intervention classes (grades 7-9), supporting program fidelity checks, administering assessments (Level 2 K-4, Boy Assessment), providing dyslexia intervention as needed, and delivering district-approved instruction aligned to state standards. Requires collaboration with district dyslexia coordinator, preparation of lesson plans and materials, differentiated instruction, data-driven decisions from assessments, and effective communication with parents and staff. Must hold a valid teaching license for the assigned grades/subjects and meet Highly Qualified Teacher requirements if applicable.
