Junior High Assistant Football Coach

Job Summary
Assist in developing and supervising the junior high football program; coordinate with the athletic director and principal; ensure all paperwork is on file and submitted timely; monitor academics, regulations, and guidelines; supervise all students; follow athletic safety guidelines; work with the athletic director on appointment and evaluation of assistants; manage equipment ordering and inventory; plan and supervise practice sessions; report injuries to parents and athletic director; stay current with coaching philosophies and trends; maintain open communication with administration, staff, coaches, players and parents, emphasizing proper chain of command; report results to area newspapers, radio and television stations.
Required Qualifications
- Missouri State Teaching Certificate (Head Coach)
- Substitute Certificate (Assistant Coach)
- Plan and supervise all practice sessions
- Conform to athletic department policy in ordering equipment and supplies and turning in an end of the year inventory list
- Follow all school and MSHSAA guidelines regarding athletic safety
