Job Summary
Junior Helpdesk/IT Support Desktop Specialist needed to provide on-site and remote assistance in Barcelona office. Responsibilities include installation and support of PC and some Apple hardware/software, handling incoming calls/emails regarding workstation/peripheral performance, on-site analysis and resolution of problems, adherence to logging and monitoring procedures, and maintaining high user satisfaction through timely follow-up and clear communication. Required to be fluent in English with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in a team, and capable of quick diagnostic and repair of hardware/software issues. Knowledge of Windows 11, familiarity with MacOS, Office productivity tools, basic networking (DHCP, DNS, cabling), antivirus/removal techniques, and a willingness to learn. Experience with Active Directory is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English
- 0-2 years of experience (entry-level)
- Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 11 PRO)
- MacOS desirable
- Office productivity software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Basic networking (DHCP, DNS, Cabling)
- Antivirus/Spyware removal techniques
- Ability to diagnose and fix problems
- Ability to articulate and document issues and resolutions
- Team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory a plus
