Job Summary
Liaise with clients on day-to-day project activities and produce draft technical reports, design outputs, and supporting documentation. Support the development and maintenance of models, tools, and templates while assisting with site visits and surveys under guidance from senior engineers. Manage elements of funding applications and general project administration, working to deadlines and taking ownership of assigned deliverables across new developments, system optimisation, and decarbonisation strategies. This Junior Heat Network Engineer role is based in Bradford, Yorkshire, with nationwide project mobility required.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years' direct experience in relevant engineering heat network role
- A degree in Mechanical, Building Services, Energy Engineering, or a similar discipline
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word
- Ability to interpret schematics and engineering drawings
- Relocation is not required, but the successful candidate must be mobile to meet the needs of the projects
Desired Qualifications
- It is preferable that you are familiar with the heat networks industry
- Experience with AutoCAD, referable but not required
- Has a genuine interest in decarbonisation and heat network technologies
