Job Summary
Junior Hardware Engineer at General Dynamics Mission Systems–Canada responsible for designing and developing electronic circuit card assemblies and related hardware for MESHnet products (TMR, TCS, PDUs). Responsibilities include design, simulation, testing, documentation, configuration control, mechanical CAD for rugged environments, full lifecycle support from requirements to production ramp-up, and collaboration across mechanical, electrical, systems, and manufacturing teams. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in an application Engineering or Technical discipline
- Knowledge of electronic circuit design
- Strong understanding of computer systems, from low level hardware to OS systems
- Innovative self-starter with excellent communication and team work skills
- Ability to interpret and verify requirements
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Ability to work in a time-critical environment
- Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred
- You must be eligible to work in Canada
