Junior Groomer

Junior Pet Stylist in Grooming at Petco: undergoes a ten-week training program to learn fundamental grooming tasks such as bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning under the guidance of experienced groomers. Primary duties include ensuring the well-being and safety of animals, interacting professionally with pet parents, delivering customer service, maintaining a clean and safe grooming area, disinfecting tools, and assisting in scheduling appointments. Training progression spans Weeks 1–3 (learning basics and on-the-job training) and Weeks 3–10 (performing bathing and walking-in services while meeting weekly productivity goals).
