Junior Groomer

Junior Pet Stylist in Grooming at Petco undergoing a ten-week training program to learn bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning under supervision. Responsibilities include performing limited grooming services, ensuring animal safety, providing excellent customer service to pet parents, maintaining a clean and sanitary grooming area, and assisting with scheduling and maintaining grooming records. Training progress through Weeks 1-3 (learning and on-the-job training) and Weeks 3-10 (performing grooming tasks and achieving productivity). Requires passion for animals, effective communication with pet parents, and ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments. Must be able to work indoors in grooming salon environments and adhere to Petco policies and safety guidelines.
