Job Summary
Junior Graphic Designer at Takealot Fulfilment Solutions (TFS) responsible for assisting design assets creation across digital and print, under guidance, adhering to brand guidelines, and collaborating with Marketing, Product, Training, and Operations. Duties include applying design skills to practical work across takealot.com, TFS, and Mr D; contributing to concept development, layout design, basic visual assets, and production-ready artwork; ensuring accuracy, deadlines, and version control; participating in design reviews and cross-functional teamwork; maintaining professional standards and engaging in regular performance check-ins to track learning milestones and readiness for increased responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- N6 in Graphic design
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diplomas
- 1-2 years’ experience
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalent)
- General computer literacy, including file management, email communication, and collaboration tools
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and apply feedback accurately
- Basic understanding of digital and print design principles (layout, typography, colour, resolution)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to ask questions, contribute ideas, and voice opinions constructively
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach to tasks
