Job Summary
Collaborate with senior dealers and clients to understand currency risk exposure and recommend tailored FX solutions, including spot and forward contracts. Stay updated on global economic events and geopolitical factors to conduct research on market conditions and potential risks for private clients and businesses. Assist in executing FX trades, monitor post-trade activities, and ensure timely settlements while educating clients on various FX products. Support the sales team in client meetings and presentations as a subject matter expert, helping to develop informative materials. Manage potential risks associated with FX transactions and market volatility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in finance and foreign exchange to build a career in the currency risk management industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred
- Previous sales experience, ideally within a financial or related industry
- Strong interest in finance, currency markets and foreign exchange products
- Knowledge of FX products such as spot and forward contracts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
