Job Summary
Design and implement REST API integrations and product improvements for the multilingual car rental domain, ensuring reliable backend, frontend, and partner system connectivity. Develop responsive web frontends and internal tools using React, TypeScript, and Symfony while optimizing the tech stack for stability and scalability. Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to implement innovative features across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Work with modern AI development tools and maintain clean code principles in an agile environment with short release cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study
- Initial experience in software development and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming
- Very good knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, such as PHP, Python, Golang, or TypeScript
- Experience with frameworks such as Symfony
- Experience with relational databases (SQL)
- Ideally Linux/DevOps knowledge
- Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React or React Router
- Good sense for UI/UX
- Responsive web development
- User-friendly interfaces
- Enthusiasm for AI
- Experience using AI development tools, such as Claude Code or Cursor
- Interest in advancing and further developing their integration into the development process
- Proactivity
- Strong team spirit
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent German skills at negotiation level, at least C1
- Good English skills at B2 level
