Job Summary
Design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot, and operate complex equipment and systems while supporting experiment design, materials, and equipment setup/maintenance. Install, test, and modify systems as required, including onboard support on Submarines, Carriers, and Destroyers. Apply technical skills during research and product development to determine cost-efficient resource methods. Demonstrate in-depth operational process knowledge and technical competence in monitoring and documentation. Work collaboratively on engineering teams to solve mission challenges using advanced technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or combination of education and relevant work experience
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- narrowly focused in-depth technical level of practical operational process knowledge in a specific engineering area
- technical competence in the setup, monitoring and documentation of experiments and/or lab equipment
