Junior Finishing Editor

JUNIOR FINISHING EDITOR at Vancouver location. Full-time with benefits. Primary responsibilities include data management, conform of offline media to online project, finishing editorial work and deliverables, Marketing pulls, VFX drop-ins & matte checks, titling, laybacks, mastering and versioning for delivery, and assisting colorists with pre-color and other post production needs. Qualifications include basic knowledge of Avid, Premiere and Photoshop; intermediate knowledge of DaVinci Resolve; familiarity with Mac operating systems (Windows and Linux a plus); knowledge of different video formats and native codecs; strong troubleshooting and multitasking abilities; and strong communication as a team player. Required experience: 2+ years of applicable work experience. Education: High School education or equivalent required; post-secondary education in related field suggested.
