Job Summary
Supports budget development, execution, financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting across multiple programs and organizational units. Assists with financial planning, expenditure tracking, forecasting, and developing recommendations to support effective financial management and organizational objectives. Key activities include operating and capital budget development, monitoring obligations and expenditures against plans, preparing financial reports and presentations, analyzing trends and variances, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve reporting processes. Requires a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience (degree may be waived with 5+ years) and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budget formulation, and budget execution (degree requirement may be waived with 5+ years of directly related experience)
- 2+ years of experience performing financial calculations including NPV, IRR, Time Value of Money, and amortization analysis using Excel and financial tools
- 2+ years of experience preparing budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and business analyses
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
