Junior Financial Analyst

Job Summary
Junior Financial Analyst to support plant financial operations, cost analysis, and reporting within a manufacturing environment. Partners with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to support standard costing, inventory analysis, financial reporting, and KPI tracking. Assists with month-end close activities, costing analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to support plant performance and profitability. Key activities include maintaining standard cost structures (materials, labor, overhead), BOM creation and ERP updates, standard cost updates, analyzing variances (PPV, labor, overhead), monthly financial reporting, month-end close (journal entries, accruals), inventory accuracy initiatives, physical inventory counts, tracking production and operational metrics, profitability analysis by product/customer/process, maintaining costing/master data in ERP, supporting audits related to costing and inventory, collaborating to identify cost-reduction opportunities, and assisting budgeting/forecasting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance preferred
- Internship, co-op, or manufacturing finance experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of standard costing and variance analysis
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Plex, AS400/CMS, or similar) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills preferred (pivot tables, lookups, reporting, data analysis)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
