Junior Finance Specialist (Philippines)

Job Summary
Oversee the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and month/year-end close. Prepare accurate financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and statutory requirements for BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG. Manage payroll operations end-to-end, handle accounts payable and receivable processes, and maintain fixed asset records with depreciation calculations. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis while driving audit readiness and cross-departmental financial support. Ensure timely tax filings and resolve discrepancies through coordination with various divisions. Deliver accurate monthly and annual financial statements and fully reconciled accounts with discrepancies resolved.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including general ledger, payroll, and reporting
- Solid knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory compliance requirements (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decision-making
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-departmental coordination and audit support
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and recommend process improvements
- Work Location: Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales
