Job Summary
Junior Finance Accountant responsible for assisting with accounts payable/receivable tasks, preparing financial reports and statements, supporting budgets, forecasts and reconciliations, and helping with month-end/year-end close activities. Will analyze financial data to identify trends or discrepancies, participate in audits/internal controls, and collaborate with other departments to gather financial data. Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal, with a focus on accuracy, process improvements, and adherence to finance policies; requires Finance/Accounting knowledge or experience, proficiency in Google Sheets (SAP a plus), and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Finance / Accounting degree or experience in administrative accounting tasks
- Implement and document process improvements
- Familiar with standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in Google Sheets; familiarity with SAP is a plus
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational and time management skills
- Service-oriented & collaborative approach
- Ability to prioritize issues and to efficiently troubleshoot problems
- Effective Communication skills, both oral and written
- Language: English - fluent
