Job Summary
Junior Event Sales Coordinator assists the Sales and Event Department to drive revenue and plan, coordinate, and execute events across Pelham Hospitality properties. Responsibilities include prospecting potential clients for corporate events, weddings, and social gatherings; managing event logistics (room setups, AV, catering, decor); maintaining calendars and records; responding to lead requests and RFPs; maximizing event revenue through banquet and rental components; editing sales materials; planning and executing events across Wedding/Corporate/Leisure market segments; delivering exceptional customer service; and gaining experience to eventually plan events from start to finish while aligning with finance goals and upsell opportunities. The role supports the sales team in vendor coordination, contract and proposal preparation, and post-event analysis. Requires outstanding communication, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and familiarity with hospitality operations. A BSc/BA in hospitality management or related field is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of TripleSeat.
