Job Summary
Junior Engineer/Scientist in Grande Prairie, Alberta, assisting with field coordination and execution of Phase II environmental site assessments, remediation and groundwater monitoring programs; support soil and vegetation assessments; participate in spill responses; travel as required to support field programs; prepare technical reports; collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients; requires 1–3 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Environmental, Engineering, Chemistry or related science; valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Environmental, Engineering, Chemistry, or related science
- 1 – 3 years of related experience
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Site safety certifications and familiarity with off-road vehicles
- A valid class 5 driver’s license (or class G or equivalent) with no restrictions
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
