Job Summary
Perform environmental oversight of remedial works, controlling contractor performance against the remedial action plan and supervising ground investigations. Coordinate field service subcontractors, collect soil and groundwater samples, and compile analytical data into conceptual site models. Conduct desk studies, procure laboratory analysis, and write factual reports while ensuring health and safety objectives are met through training and coaching. Daily reporting of site works is required. This role involves occasional travel within Belgium and the Netherlands.
Required Qualifications
- French speaking
- Fluent English written and verbal language skills
- Master or BSc degree in Geology, Geography, Bio Engineering or another technical, environmental or chemical field of study
- Graduate or approximately 1 to 3 year experience in a similar role within the environmental consultancy sector
- Valid driver license for a car
- Strong commitment to AECOM's health and safety culture
- Willingness to travel occasionally within mainly Belgium and occasionally in the Netherlands or abroad to meet the needs of specific projects
- Must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
