Junior Engineer II, SMT Production

Job Summary
Lead daily operations for SMT & THT lines in automotive electronics; manage production targets, cycle times, and manpower planning; monitor KPI metrics (OEE, first pass yield, scrap rate, DL efficiency); develop and maintain SOPs/WIs; ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ESD standards; collaborate with Quality and Engineering to address in-process defects and audits; support PPAP, FMEA, RCA, and Lean continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, SMED); optimize layouts/workflow to reduce cycle time and waste; oversee equipment health and maintenance coordination; train operators on new assembly processes, safety and quality norms; supervise line operators and contract workforce.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical or related
- Experience: 3–6 years in SMT operations within automotive electronics
- Familiar with PCBA Manufacturing process
- Hands-on with SAP PP/MM, MS Office, and data reporting tools
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, team coordination and communication
