Job Summary
Assist in planning, coordination and delivery of water projects under the Yarra Valley Water contract. This role supports hands-on project delivery, site coordination, and commercial administration within a collaborative project team. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, assisting with project documentation (ITPs, SWMS, schedules, and reports), monitoring project costs, variations, and procurement, and ensuring safety, environmental, and quality compliance. Requires strong reading of drawings/technical specifications and proficiency with MS Office/Project; exposure to water infrastructure projects (pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants) is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 0–3 years’ experience in a project engineering or site-based role (water or utilities preferred)
- Exposure to water infrastructure projects (pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, or similar) is advantageous
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project controls
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications
