Job Summary
Assist with engineering analysis, design support, technical evaluations, and project coordination across multiple engineering disciplines for NSWC IHD. Collaborate with government personnel, engineers, scientists, and manufacturing personnel to support research, development, manufacturing, testing, facility modernization, and technical program execution. Participate in engineering reviews, design reviews, and project planning; support testing, evaluation, validation, and verification activities; prepare and maintain technical data packages, drawings, procedures, and engineering records; ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and customer specifications; contribute to continuous improvement and modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance (Must have interim clearance before start date)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- Minimum 1 year of relevant engineering experience
- Knowledge of engineering principles, technical problem-solving methodologies, and engineering processes
- Ability to analyze technical information and develop recommendations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary technical teams
