Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for industrial drives and inverters using C on Texas Instruments TMS320 DSP processors. Implement firmware features, perform debugging in lab and prototype environments, and support software validation and functional testing. Translate technical requirements into specifications, maintain industrial communication protocols, and prepare documentation for code, testing, and releases. Collaborate with hardware, test, quality, and support teams to investigate issues and define solutions while using version control and embedded development tools.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or similar fields
- Knowledge and experience in embedded systems software development
- Extensive knowledge of programming languages C, C++, and C#
- Knowledge of communication protocols including Ethernet, EtherCAT, CAN / CANopen, CAN tools, RS232
- Excellent written and spoken English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in electronic circuits design and integration of microcontrollers into complex boards
- Experience VHDL firmware programming
