(Junior)Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary
Embedded Software Engineer role focused on designing, implementing, and testing embedded software for automated agricultural systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (stakeholders, software engineers, test specialists, data analysts, electronics engineers) to optimize data structures and algorithms for production-ready performance, maintain existing software, perform design/code reviews and unit/integration testing, address technical debt, and participate in an Agile workflow. The role emphasizes contributing to sustainable agriculture by improving farmer quality of life and animal welfare, with a hybrid work arrangement on the Maassluis campus (at least three days on-site with flexible hours) and a full-time salary scale for Junior/Medior levels in the Netherlands.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Strong experience with C++
- Experience with Embedded Linux and Git
- Experience in multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams
- Openness to feedback and learning
- Comfortable asking questions and contributing to a collaborative environment
