Job Summary
Embedded Software Engineer (Junior) at Lely to design, implement, and test the embedded software that drives automated farming systems. Collaborate with stakeholders, software engineers, test specialists, data analysts, and electronics engineers. Responsibilities include developing embedded software, optimizing data structures and algorithms for production-ready performance, maintaining existing software, and ensuring quality through design/code reviews and unit/integration tests. Contribute to reducing technical debt, support long-term product stability, and participate actively in an Agile workflow. Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, strong C++ skills, familiarity with Embedded Linux and Git, and experience working in multidisciplinary Agile Scrum teams.
