Job Summary
Junior Due Diligence role supporting the Office of Global Partnerships by performing administrative and due-diligence tasks. Responsibilities include planning and executing fact-finding and analysis for due-diligence tasks, preparing narrative reports that outline issues, background, observations, options, and recommendations, monitoring due-diligence requests, assisting in GP-led trainings, conducting event planning and social media outreach, and carrying out special projects as needed. Requires strong written and oral communication, ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance, experience in an office environment (preferably within the U.S. government), excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, comfort working with senior officials and interns, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques, plus familiarity with databases and online tools for analysis related to due diligence.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree plus at least one year of related work experience OR a master’s degree
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- Experience in an office environment, preferably within the U.S. government
- Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to work well with senior officials, staff, and interns
- Strong organizational skills, a customer service orientation and execution/follow-through
- Knowledge and experience applying qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of programs
- Experience using various databases and applications and online tools to analyze relevant and required information for due diligence reports
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines
- Knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to due diligence, conflict of interest, and public-private partnerships
