Junior Developer - Contract

Job Summary
Implement and maintain front-end features using React Native for web and Next.js while collaborating with designers to ensure responsive, user-friendly interfaces. Build and manage content-driven features within Directus and WordPress, assisting in CMS schema design to support evolving business requirements. Use basic PHP for server-side logic, API integrations, and minor database tasks, contributing to code reviews and ensuring best practices are followed. Troubleshoot application performance issues, support continuous integration and deployment processes, and participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning to align technical solutions with project goals.
Required Qualifications
- Significant proficiency in Next.js
- Proficiency in React Native for web
- Familiarity with basic PHP for back-end tasks
- Experience working with CMS platforms (Directus, WordPress)
- Experience working with version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in both autonomous and team-based settings
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Laravel framework
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs or GraphQL
- Basic understanding of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
