Job Summary
Junior IT Desktop Support Technician provides first-line technical support to employees—diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues, assisting with setup/deployment of devices, managing user accounts in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, and maintaining IT policies and data protection. On-site at Bloomsbury, NJ, this part-time role emphasizes customer service, problem-solving, and collaboration within an IT operations context, with responsibilities including incident logging, basic network support (Wi‐Fi, VPN), and participation in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years IT support or helpdesk experience preferred
- Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365 suite, and basic networking concepts
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) preferred
