Job Summary
Design and implement reusable components and page templates to empower the team in creating their own pages. Lead on elevating and upholding the brand identity by making key decisions on fonts and layouts while maintaining the design system. Collaborate with analysts to uncover insights that inform design choices and work across business teams to bring new products to market. Build scalable component libraries and explore animation to support the brand narrative. This Junior Design Engineer role sits within the Website team, which is part of the wider Direct Acquisition team focused on creating demand and empowering marketing and sales.
Required Qualifications
- You apply core design principles confidently and creatively
- You have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS
- You have a systematic approach to design, and enjoy making things organised and structured
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience building and maintaining websites in Webflow
- Experience developing a design system
- Knowledge of Figma
- Experience using animation in design
- Experience working in a commercial environment - balancing technical, resource and revenue constraints
