Job Summary
Support pricing and predictive models for insurance products by preparing, cleaning, and analyzing data for statistical and machine learning tasks. Assist senior Data Scientists with model development, testing, and performance monitoring while participating in A/B test analysis to prepare recommendations. Generate analysis results, visualizations, and summaries for business teams and monitor model outputs to identify improvement areas. Explore new analytical methods and tools with the Baltic Business Analytics team to gradually develop expertise in insurance pricing and risk modeling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or final-year studies in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Basic knowledge of Python and SQL
- Understanding of statistics, data analysis, and machine learning fundamentals
- Experience working with data through university projects, internships, personal projects, or previous work experience
- Basic understanding of data cleaning, data preparation, feature engineering, and predictive modeling
- Native Lithuanian language
- Good English communication skills for collaboration across the Baltics
- Analytical mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn and explore new approaches
- Ability to explain findings and analytical results in a clear and understandable way
