Job Summary
Ingest customers' trade and supply chain data under guidance by analysing, mapping, and transforming it into our data models. Write SQL against our dataset to investigate data issues, validate customer data, and answer questions. Build simple ingestion and transformation steps, apply validation checks for nulls and duplicates, and make well-scoped fixes to the pipeline. Contribute to dashboards and internal tooling, while learning monitoring runbooks and escalating alerts with context. Develop domain knowledge of how trade data maps to carbon accounting by documenting assumptions as you go. This early-career role emphasizes learning with supervision, allowing you to build fluency with our tooling and modern engineering practices while tackling diverse challenges in a fast-growing climate tech company.
Required Qualifications
- Some hands-on experience with Python
- Some hands-on experience with SQL
- A rigorous, detail-oriented approach to working with messy real-world data
- Comfort asking questions, seeking feedback, and learning fast
- Ownership mindset: you see your tasks through rather than handing them off
- Strong communication skills
- Passionate about climate and sustainability
- The right to work in the UK
- Willingness to work in the central London office at least 3 days a week
