Job Summary
Support the Aptive team in statistical and data aspects of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration project work, including feasibility, pilot, and evaluation studies. Perform analyst functions such as data collection, interviewing, data modeling, and project testing to create performance measurements. Develop methodologies to collect, analyze, and present data reports, briefings, and presentations while identifying patterns and articulating analysis results. Contribute to evaluation and analytical plans and prepare comprehensive written reports, charts, and presentations based on research and data analysis. Utilize various tools to find patterns in data and clearly articulate methodology, results, assumptions, and constraints. Requires a bachelor's degree in public health, statistics, behavioral health, or a clinical degree with two years of experience in program design, evaluation, and implementation. SAMHSA experience is desired.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in public health, statistics, behavioral health, or a clinical degree
- 2 years of experience including program design, evaluation, and implementation
- Experience designing and executing feasibility and pilot studies
- Experience reporting feasibility and pilot studies
- Experience developing technical assistance resources to promote increased fidelity in the application of identified models
- Experience identifying, developing and/or designing a preliminary evaluation design, evaluation instruments, data collection plan, data dictionary, data analysis plan, questions to be addressed by the evaluation study and evaluation study
- Experience developing a system for data collection tools that shall include data validation and cleaning
- SAMHSA experience
- Experience with mental health and serious mental illness (SMI)
- Experience with individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis
- Experience with substance use disorders (SUD) including opioids
- Experience with children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance (SED)
- Experience with individuals with co-occurring mental and substance disorders (COD)
- This position supports a federal government contract and is subject to government vaccination mandates or other customer vaccination requirements
