Job Summary
As a Junior Contract Administrator, you will coordinate and conduct site visits, assist with project progress reporting, manage shop drawings, and oversee quality control for construction projects. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and ensure adherence to technical standards and local construction practices. The role requires 1-5 years of relevant experience, strong technical knowledge, and familiarity with building codes.
Required Qualifications
- 1-5 years’ experience with a focus on the construction phase of projects
- Sound technical and building envelope knowledge
- Strong understanding of codes
- Familiarity with Nova Scotia construction practices
- Recognized credentials from a construction contract administration course or other equivalent training
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows
- Experience with REVIT software
- Experience with AutoCAD software
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 environment
- Experience with Bluebeam and Adobe Reader
