Job Summary
Junior Consultant in environmental compliance supporting data management and supplier/client communications to ensure conformity with global standards (ROHS/REACH, conflict minerals). Responsibilities include documenting material and substance content, maintaining project records, collecting and validating data from technical sources and supplier reports, assisting in reviewing regulatory data, and ensuring documentation meets compliance standards. Collaboration with suppliers and clients, tracking progress, generating technical reports, and applying product engineering or parametric data to support compliance efforts. Required background in Chemistry/Engineering/Sustainability, 1 year of relevant experience, strong English communication, and familiarity with data handling tools; familiarity with IMDS/BoMs and related regulatory data is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Materials/Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical), Chemistry, Sustainability, Environmental Science or equivalent experience (minimum 1 year)
- Experience with Parametric Data, managing/interpreting Technical Drawings/Datasheets
- Knowledge in Product Compliance, Full Material Disclosure (FMD) Data, Material Safety Datasheet (MSDS)
- Knowledge of electronics/electrical manufacturing, bills of materials (BoMs), and materials typically used in electrical/electronic manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
- Strong proficiency with digital software data handling tools (MS Office suite)
- Experience in SAP-EHSM, CMAP, CDX, IMDS, Alteryx, PowerBI will be an advantage
- Knowledge of foreign language (e.g. Chinese and/or Japanese) spoken and written technical language capability will be an advantage
