Job Summary
Monitor Croatian legislation and regulatory developments, interpret findings, and report on legal updates. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating contracts, internal acts, and legal procedures while supporting risk assessments and mitigation recommendations. Conduct detailed legal research for the Adriatic cluster and act as the Data Privacy Officer for Croatia. Support the development and execution of the corporate compliance program, including third-party due diligence, ethical monitoring, and data collection for transfer disclosures. Prepare compliance training materials and educational resources for employees. This role supports the Adriatic region, with primary focus on Serbia and Croatia, alongside Slovenia, Albania, Montenegro, and Bosnia & Herzegovina. You will work under the guidance of the Compliance and Legal Adriatic Officer to ensure operations align with local laws and internal policies.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree in Law (mag. iur.)
- Mandatory fluency in both Croatian and English (written and spoken)
- Strong fundamental knowledge of the Croatian legal system
- High ethical standards
- Strong analytical skills
- Proactive approach to learning and development
- Detail-oriented
- Capability to handle administrative legal tasks efficiently
- Junior level (0-2 years of experience)
- 35% time in Serbia
- 35% time in Croatia
- 15% time in Slovenia
- 5% time in Albania
- 5% time in Montenegro
- 5% time in Bosnia & Herzegovina
