Job Summary
The Junior Compliance Analyst at Akuna will assist the Compliance team in meeting regulatory obligations. Responsibilities include monitoring surveillance systems for market manipulation, conducting daily trading reviews, investigating suspicious trading, supporting audits, maintaining compliance procedures, managing form filings, and overseeing brokerage account processes. Ideal candidates will possess 1-3 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Excel, and a solid understanding of trading markets and asset classes.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- General understanding of options and futures products, equities, and cryptocurrency
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to engage and effectively communicate with the Trading team
- Proficiency in Excel
Desired Qualifications
- Willingness to take and pass Series 57 within 90 days of hire
- Familiarity with SQL or data analysis tools
