Job Summary
Pull and reconcile transactional booking data from HubSpot, cross-check records against source data, and flag discrepancies before payout. Prepare accurate commission statements for the sales team, audit calculations against plan rules, and resolve disputes by investigating inquiries and providing documented explanations of figure calculations. Maintain up-to-date SOPs, build reconciliation trackers in Google Sheets, and partner with Finance, RevOps, and Sales to align on commission logic. Utilize AI tools to improve efficiency and validate work while supporting ad hoc reporting requests. This role supports the sales team's growth within a voice AI company serving the restaurant industry.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, revenue operations, commission statements, or a similar analytical role
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliation workflows)
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar CRM reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail with an auditing mindset
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
- Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system
- 40 hours per week
- M-F from 9AM-5PM EST
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Google Sheets/Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation)
- CRM data reporting and reconciliation (HubSpot)
- Familiarity with sales commission calculation logic
- Comfort working with AI tools to speed up and validate work
- exposure to Coefficient, QuickBooks, or similar reporting/accounting tools
- An "auditing mindset" — you instinctively double-check numbers and spot what doesn't add up
- Clear, patient communicator who can explain calculations to non-finance stakeholders
- Highly organized, with strong documentation habits
- Comfortable working independently while staying closely aligned with multiple teams
- Curious and eager to learn, especially around evolving commission structures and tools
- You get genuine satisfaction from reconciling a spreadsheet down to the last cent, and you don't consider a task done until the numbers tie out.
- You're the kind of person who documents your work not because someone told you to, but because you know future-you (and your teammates) will thank you for it.
- Disputes and discrepancies don't rattle you — you see them as puzzles to solve methodically and communicate clearly.
- You're eager to grow within finance/revenue operations, comfortable using AI tools as part of your everyday workflow, and you take ownership of accuracy and process even when no one's checking your work.
