Job Summary
Review lab dips, strike-offs, yarn dyes, and trims to ensure alignment with brand standards. Support seasonal color approval processes by preparing approval cards, maintaining color libraries, and organizing submissions for internal reviews. Track sample approvals with mills, textiles, and product development partners while documenting comments using accurate color terminology. Troubleshoot color issues and communicate updates to cross-functional teams to maintain consistency across collections. Assist senior color and product development teams in managing timely approvals within a fast-paced calendar.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in women's apparel (color, textiles, product development, or fabric roles acceptable)
- Understanding of basic color concepts including value, cast, saturation, and depth
- Strong visual color sense and ability to differentiate subtle color differences
- Organized with strong follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple approvals at once
- Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- exposure to color theory preferred
- Familiarity with lab dips, strike-offs, and color approval workflow preferred
- Exposure to mills, textiles, or fabric development a plus
