Job Summary
Manage day-to-day cloud infrastructure operations on Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, and AWS using Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, and Gitlab CI/ArgoCD. Troubleshoot issues via Grafana Cloud and maintain secure environments with Hashicorp Vault, K8S cert-manager, IPsec VPNs, and Fortinet firewalls. Support BESS projects by handling networking and industrial PCs, while writing automation scripts in Python, Go, Bash, and PowerShell. Contribute to infrastructure modernization efforts focused on security, performance, and developer-friendliness under senior mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Basic to good understanding of networking principles such as routing, switching, VPNs, and DNS
- Ability to write simple scripts in Bash/PowerShell, Python, or Go
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Some exposure to Azure or other major cloud
- Strong learning mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to grow into a well-rounded infrastructure engineer
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with IPsec VPNs or BGP routing
- Some exposure to or willingness to learn Terraform
- Foundational understanding of infrastructure-as-code concepts
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
- Willingness to learn how to package apps with Helm and Kustomize
- Openness to learning new languages as needed
- Some familiarity with Ansible or another configuration management tool
- Eagerness to deepen troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills
- Interest in observability tooling like the Grafana stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir)
