Job Summary
Implement defined AWS compute, storage, networking, and IAM changes alongside senior engineers using multi-tenant patterns. Craft Infrastructure-as-Code modules in Terraform and CloudFormation to streamline provisioning, maintenance, and backups. Configure dynamic dashboards and alerts in Datadog and CloudWatch to monitor system health, while investigating issues in non-production environments and applying targeted fixes. Collaborate with Product Engineering and SRE teams to translate requirements into cloud changes, support critical FedRAMP patching routines, and resolve security vulnerabilities. Create clear runbooks and documentation to enable team reuse. Work three days in-office in Milan or Biassono, with flexibility for remote collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on project experience
- 1–2 years of experience or project work in cloud or infrastructure engineering
- exposure to AWS (or another major cloud provider)
- Comfort navigating Linux
- writing scripts in Bash or Python
- managing code using Git
- using CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or Jenkins
- high interest in modern containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- strong problem-solving approach
- enthusiastic drive to continually elevate your cloud engineering skills
