Junior Civil & Structural Engineer

Job Summary
Support civil and structural design activities for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects by performing engineering calculations, analyzing structural systems, and preparing detailed drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. Assist with plan preparation, technical documentation, and redlines while collaborating with senior engineers, project managers, and field teams to resolve design conflicts. Participate in occasional site visits to evaluate constructability and document field observations that impact project execution. Maintain organized technical records and ensure all deliverables align with project requirements and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of structural analysis software
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or related design software
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, field information, and technical documents
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Willingness to participate in field visits and site evaluations
- Engineer-in-Training certification
- Professional Engineer license is not required, but is a plus
Desired Qualifications
- Two to five years of civil engineering, structural engineering, design, construction, or related technical experience
- Experience supporting commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or construction-related projects
- Experience preparing or supporting construction drawings, redlines, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation
- Working knowledge of structural engineering concepts including hot rolled steel framing, cold rolled steel framing, foundation design, axial forces, and lateral forces
- Exposure to shallow foundation design, deep foundation design, steel framing systems, and infrastructure planning
- Strong willingness to learn, ask questions, receive feedback, and grow professionally
