Job Summary
Junior Chargeback Specialist responsible for protecting merchants and customers by handling chargebacks end-to-end in line with Visa and Mastercard rules. You will manage retrieval requests, review merchant sales drafts for compliance, analyze chargeback cases to determine correct outcomes, and support merchants via inbound calls with clear guidance on disputes and processes. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication in a fast-paced banking environment. Office-based role at an Elavon/U.S. Bank location with in-person collaboration three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in banking, card operations, merchant disputes, or customer contact environment
- Strong analytical mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
