Junior Buyer Procurement Operations

Job Summary
Execute the purchase-to-pay process by ensuring order accuracy, placing purchase orders, and processing invoice disputes in a compliant manner. Manage purchasing data, including pricing, order profiles, and supplier information, while collaborating with commercial purchasing and manufacturing sites as the daily operational contact. Identify process improvement opportunities to drive automation and create efficiencies based on strategic optimization. Provide status updates on purchased goods and services and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and security standards. Work at the AFZ office in Heredia on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with additional days required occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related
- Understanding of the purchasing process
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- B2 English
- work at our office in AFZ, Heredia on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
- occasions where additional office days are required, due specific business needs

- Exposure to procurement, supply chain, or purchasing processes through internships, academic projects, or previous experience
