Job Summary
Quote and procure electronic components, fabricated parts, and indirect materials based on production demand and engineering specifications. Create, release, and manage purchase orders using the company's ERP/MRP system while reviewing open orders daily to support on-time delivery. Proactively identify shortages, expedite materials, and coordinate recovery plans to prevent production delays. Develop strong supplier relationships, monitor performance metrics, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and specification issues. Clearly communicate supply risks and delivery changes to internal stakeholders while maintaining accurate order-status information. Participate in Lean activities and follow all safety and regulatory policies. This full-time, 100% on-site role supports manufacturing operations in Canby, Oregon, requiring experience with ERP systems and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- One or more years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or a comparable platform
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to read and understand purchasing requirements, part specifications, and bills of material
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness and ability to complete company-provided IPC-A-610 training
- U.S. person status (U.S. citizen, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent resident, or individual granted asylum/refugee status in the U.)
- Acceptable proof of identity and current authorization to work in the U.S.
