Job Summary
Junior Business & Application Support role following initial training on banking/trading platforms, Oracle databases, Python-based tools, and financial products. Investigate complex incidents impacting banking, trading and forex platforms; act as primary contact for internal departments requiring tech and business support; perform root cause analysis and coordinate with development teams. Analyze large datasets using SQL (Oracle, Postgres); maintain/improve monitoring; develop automation tools and Python scripts to increase efficiency; produce complex data extractions/analyses for business, legal, compliance, and operational teams. Participate in internal reconciliations and database integrity controls; monitor critical production processes and identify anomalies; contribute to documentation and continuous improvement; provide Level 2/3 support for business-critical applications; potential on-call rotation for 24/7 support long term. Requires degree in Information Systems and strong IT interest; skills in Windows/Unix/Linux, SQL, scripting (Python, Bash), Git; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; interest in financial markets, banking operations, and trading systems; ability to understand both technical and business processes; excellent communication across stakeholders; autonomous and eager to learn; proficient in French and English (B2).
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Information Systems (e.g., Bachelor HES or similar)
- Strong interest for IT
- Windows/Unix/Linux environment
- SQL and scripting (Python, Bash)
- Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in financial markets, banking operations, and trading systems
- Ability to understand both technical systems and business processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders
- Autonomous, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of French and strong working knowledge of English (minimum B2)
