Job Summary
Analyse and document business and technical requirements while mapping AS-IS and TO-BE processes to identify tasks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities. Prepare functional and technical documentation, progress reports, and decision logs to support solution transitions to operational teams. Collaborate with project managers, architects, developers, and stakeholders on long-term design and integration initiatives within complex IT environments, contributing to quality management and risk analysis. This Junior Business Analyst role is based in Brussels with a hybrid work arrangement of minimum two days onsite per week.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Business Analysis and/or IT project support
- Experience working in complex IT environments, preferably the public sector
- Knowledge of requirements management and process modelling
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and MS Visio or similar tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of IT systems and technical environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Structured, proactive and detail-oriented approach
- High level of discretion and reliability
- Dutch or French: Native
- Other national language: Strong passive knowledge
- English: Active knowledge
- Hybrid, minimum 2 days/week onsite
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of monitoring tools
- Experience with ANPR, camera or sensor technology
