Job Summary
Junior Business Analyst (Data Cleansing) primarily telework-based with a commutable distance requirement to Harrisburg, PA. Responsible for manual record de-duplication in the PIERS immunization registry, merging duplicate immunization records, separating records that are comingled or incorrectly merged, and processing immunization record requests and change requests from the public. Will provide PIERS hotline support and communicate with the public via phone and email. Collaborates with the registry manager, supervisors, and IIS staff to maintain SOPs and ensure data quality in PIERS. Requires data cleansing of incoming and existing records, identifying trends in duplicates, and supporting improvements to IIS matching and merging processes while maintaining privacy and security of PIERS data.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of Business Analyst experience
- Data analysis and visualization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Develop goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
- Ability to make decisions based on independent judgment and SOPs
- Residence within commutable distance to Harrisburg, PA and willing to report to the DOH office AS NEEDED
