Job Summary
Junior BAS Technician responsible for design, programming, and graphics of HVAC equipment, commissioning, client training, warranties, preventive maintenance, energy management, and operating cost reduction across diverse client portfolios. Works on Building Automation Systems (BAS), integrates BAS software with third-party systems, simulates operation sequences, downloads software to controllers, and conducts on-site adjustments. Performs testing and troubleshooting of low-voltage components, equipment, and network communications during commissioning; verifies installation and operation of BAS-related electrical/electronic systems. Maintains documentation and generates service reports and PM checklists; supports Project Managers and BAS Manager throughout commissioning. Requires ability to self-learn, strong communication and teamwork skills, and knowledge of HVAC and BAS installation and design, network wiring standards, and multiple integration strategies. Licenses/ACR: Technician or Technologist diploma or Engineering degree; CET designation.
