Job Summary
Assist the Senior Designer in product development by creating sketches, detail drawings, and tech packs while managing trend research and line sheets. Coordinate samples from proto to sale stages, organize archives, and maintain fabric assortments for each season. Generate accurate communication with overseas factories, track package shipments, and attend fittings with production and technical design teams. Shop retail floors to understand customer needs, conduct market research, and adjust to changing business requirements. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the customer and competition while adhering to strict due dates. Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and PLM is required for this woven category role within The Kasper Group.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Fashion or BA in related science
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in woven category
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop & PLM
- Must have strong technical knowledge and ability to create tech packs
