Job Summary
Junior Backend Developer at Analyticsmart leads the development, maintenance, and enhancement of backend services powering analytics, CRM, AI, and merchandising platforms; collaborates with leadership and product teams to drive scalability, automation, and deployment improvements while contributing to API integrations, RESTful services, and backend architecture using Node.js and related frameworks. The role involves supporting database development, CI/CD processes, testing and debugging, and creating technical documentation, with a focus on learning, collaboration, and contributing to AI-driven technologies including image recognition and computer vision.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field.
- 1–2 years of backend development experience
- Basic experience with Node.js and JavaScript frameworks.
- Understanding of MySQL, MS SQL Server, or database fundamentals.
- Familiarity with APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript concepts.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, Git, and version control workflows.
- Strong willingness to learn, with good problem-solving and communication skills.
